Security Report: Going on the Ship

Security Officer Manta Nomad here.  Glad to hear we can finally move on, and will be joining you on the ship.  I think if I had to type 'security buddy' one more time, my fingers would have fallen off.  While this experience has not been without its pleasant moments, I will be much calmer when we're all back up in space.  My digital device has been acting funky again.  I am beginning to suspect that human security programs do not work well together.

I am pleased to report that humans are not as dangerous as we feared, so I do not feel entirely derelict in duty by allowing some of our number to stay here for a while without me to look after them.  Normal 'common sense', as the humans say, should be enough to get you through now that we've had a month to adjust to all this.  I will make sure the ship stays safe and in good condition as we make our way back to civilization.  Unfortunately, a good bit of that paperwork will require myself being there.

Now I just hope you managed to produce the nutrient brew concocter on board our ship.  Really, human coffee just doesn't compare...

  1. Manta, I don't think anything you can consume in this universe can compare to how much you enjoy those bland nutrient brews! I suggest you take a trip to Plexus 3, Salatune, and the Venine system and try out some of the most delicious foods the worlds have to offer.

Thanks for risking your skins for us, Officer Nomad, I will send the highest of compliments to your commanding officer detailing your outstanding performance on this mission.
